Zakaria Rugs was founded by Philip Rosenberger in 2019, and in early 2021 opened its first showroom in Amsterdam.  Driven by the hope for the revival of handcraft, we strongly believe in the magic of exclusive hand-made rugs inspired by the translation of abstract and conceptual objectives into high-end quality rugs. 

Our goal is to empower artists and creatives who share the source of inspiration. We select based on urge of expression, relevance and personal connections. We treat the rug as innovative stage to express and embrace within a community of likeminded but diverse souls from close and far away. 

Zakaria rugs is highlighting the impact of handcrafted goods in a world of fast-pace and mechanized production. The rugs are made solely from natural materials and acid-free dyes to do good for our planet earth.
