Rhyzem was founded in London in 2023 and is derived from the words rhizomz and rythm. Rhizome comes from Deleuze’s rhizome theory which emphaizes the idea of inclusivity and fluidity. Rythm means fluidity and harmony and embodies the elegance and fluidity of the object, both of which form the core of. the Rhyzem brand.
Rhyzem specialises in creating soft, flowing structures through tailoring that expresses the contemporary aesthetics of Eastern Romanticism. The silhouette combines the rigorous and meticulous structure of menswear design with the presentation of the human body in three-dimensional tailoring, emphasising the shape and presence of the human body.
Rhyzem emphaizes the shaping and portraying of the human body’s sense of presence, presenting the original sensual tension of the garment.
