Paula Claveria experiments with abstract theories to discuss the terminology of daily objects and their visual perception, creating functional sculptural pieces. The abstraction of these figurative forms result in the so-called “non-form” objects”, without altering the function for which they were created.
BASIC CHAIR
Basic Chair is the first of Paula Claveria’s chair shape experiments. All her research always starts from this initial point, a common figure study bases on the Arnheim theories about shape of the chair. A social experimentation about how the perception of daily objects affects our life.
