MERNØE is a family-based lighting company. They design, engineer and produce lighting in classic materials and LED technology. The lamps are hand made and customized to order in Copenhagen and are designed and produced to emphasize the originality of materials.
A MERNØE lamp is made from a carefully selected piece of wood, which is processed into a thin lamp shade. Each shade is cut out to maintain the natural structure of the wood. When the form is in place, the shade is grinded and treated with beeswax.
Mernøe is mounted with brass fittings. Each fitting is milled from a solid piece of brass, which is then polished and surface treated to compliment the wood.
