Founded by designer Mario Keine in 2022,  MARKE is a conceptual fashion label that explores the human spirit as a fluid, layered construct shaped as much by memory and loss as by desire and imagination. Through melancholic reflections on the queer past and the moments society never allowed to unfold, MARKE creates garments that inhabit the space of what could have been and what could be.

Each collection draws from a wide field of references art, literature, historical aesthetics, cultural remnants refracted through the lens of the contemporary. MARKE’s designs are not nostalgic, but inquisitive: they ask how the past might be re-seen, re-felt, and re-worn to imagine more inclusive, reflective futures.
