Created in 2013 Hors Pistes initiates exchanges between artisans and designers from all over the world.
During a month-long residency, designers and craftsmen share their know-how and conceive a project together. The resulting collaborations foster the transfer of artisanal masteries and question their heritage and future by proposing new applications to traditional manufacturing methods.
An editorial team is also invited to participate and captures the working atmosphere of the residency and the living environment.
Hors Pistes offers professionals the opportunity to participate in a multidisciplinary laboratory where they reflect on conventional production and cooperation models by encouraging innovative creative processes in which the emphasis is put on human dialogue.
