ELKE SADA

German artist based in Leipzig, born 1965 in Dettelbach. Elke started career as a research technician after finishing here degree in Chemistry in 1987, a position she kept for 12 year- before deciding to become a full time artist. In 2003 she graduated with a BA in 3d-Design Ceramics from Batch Spa University before taking a MA in Ceramics & Glass at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London in 2005.

Elke incredible art works has been celebrated in numerous galleries across the world since 2004. Here work has been published in several books and is to day part of several collections from museums such as Musée Ariana in Geneva, the International design Museum in Munich to the World Ceramic Center, Icheon - south Korea to private collections such as Jorge Pérez Collection in Miami.

Elke has been selected for several awards, latest - Finalist in the Loewe Craft Prize 2019.
