BATTEN AND KAMP
Batten and Kamp is a creative partnership between Alexandra Batten and Daniel Kamp. Born in New Zealand, the Hong Kong-based design art duo create functional sculptures that have been acquired and commissioned by collectors, galleries, and clients all around the world. Their works are produced one at a time by the couple and their production partners in a renovated factory space on the outskirts of Hong Kong Island, between a densely jungled mountain and a bustling port.
Batten and Kamp are represented by galleries in New York, Shanghai, Tokyo, Geneva, Seoul, Copenhagen and Hong Kong. Novalis Art Design and Designart Tokyo displayed their works in solo exhibits and included in many group exhibitions. Batten and Kamp have participated in international art fairs like Art Fair Denmark and Fine Art Asia Hong Kong. Hype Beast, Designboom, Design Anthology, Sight Unseen, ID Magazine, Somewhere magazine, Axis Magazine, and Ignant have featured their projects and practice,
