After studying Fashion Design in Madrid at the Instituto Europeo di Design (IED), she decided to expand her tailoring knowledge at the Escuela Nacional de Sastres and at Isabel Sánchez’s workshop, where she delved more deeply into the study of different techniques, such as Japanese patterns and model-making.
In October of 2011, she formed a part of the creative staff of the Loewe company (LVMH), where she spent six months in the Women’s ready-to-wear department and among other projects, she collaborated on the development of the fall-winter 2012 collection for the Paris Fashion Week.
She also collaborated with the British designers “Art comes first” in the creation of a capsule collection for Zombie Clothing. Her first collection "S, M, L, XL" was selected for Ego 2013 and it won the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent prize, which gave her the opportunity to present her collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Mexico.
After the success of her first collection, Pepa Salazar presented her spring-summer 2014 collection at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, with which she obtained her second consecutive Mercedes-Benz Fashion Talent Award, thanks to which she will exhibit that same collection in the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Days in Zurich.
In June of 2014, her "Hyperdry" project won the Samsung Innovation Project Award, which gave her the opportunity to present it at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
