Admir Batlak is a Bosnian-born Norwegian designer. Upon graduating from Milan’s Istituto Marangoni and a stint at Dolce & Gabbana, he returned to Oslo to start his own label.
His work puts special emphasis on textile development and innovative construction. With clear references to art and fashion history, social movements and youth culture, his collections demonstrate a constant exploration of classic feminine codes and comment their relevance in a contemporary fashion context.
Through collaborations with other artists and art institutions, he continually seeks to challenge the show format and elevate the perception of fashion design.
