Damien Ravn is a Norwegian fashion designer based in Antwerp and a teacher at the Warsaw Fine Arts Academy. Damien graduated in 2008, as the first Norwegian, from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
Labeling himself as a minimalist maximalist, Damien works extensively with pattern making and technical fabric development, creating Nordic looks with a distinct Belgian approach to craftsmanship. Straight out of school Damien started working as a Freelance Menswear Designer for Maison Vandenvos and soon became the Creative Director for both the men's and women's collections.
His most recent collaboration with MUUSE is now being sold internationally in Asia, Europe, and the US. He was selected to do a collaboration with Disney to create custom pieces for the Star Wars exhibition. In 2015, he did an exhibit at 'The
Belgians- An Unexpected Fashion Story.' In 2014, he was selected to exhibit at '17x Wool' and XSO Gallery and also won the ELLE Style award in Copenhagen. He was also a finalist for Festival Hyéres, awarded by Tommy Hilfiger, and was selected to make a custom dress for Vogue Italia and these are just to name a few of his accomplishments but the list goes on.
